The Urban Garden lives inside an 154-year-old building that has been built on multiple levels among the trees, and we have tried our very best working with the existing fabric of the building and Bournemouth Gardens to make it as accessible as possible. We will continue to work on accessibility throughout the building, however for now please give us a call if you require disabled access x
Dogs are welcome on our terrace and on selected tables inside the bar and restaurant. We have water bowls for our furry friends and delicious fresh food & drink for their less furry families.
We cater for guests with a variety of dietary requirements, from dairy and gluten free to strawberry allergies. Our menus show which dishes can be served with a gluten free option, but you have an allergy or intolerance to particular ingredients we’ll always try to find an alternative. This works best when we know in advance so give us a call or drop a note on your booking.
A good number of our team are parents and know that taking little people out for a meal can, at times, be stressful. But it’s also a chance to spend time together and for the next generation to fall in love with food and drink. Families always get a warm welcome and we have books and games to borrow as well as an activity pack with each kids meal. We even have a mini-chef menu.
The main entrance to the venue is from Exeter Crescent, next to the mini golf in the Lower Gardens. There are a few choices for parking nearby, illustrated on the handy map below.
For those taking the bus, taxi, walking or cycling, skating or on hoverboard you can use the rather wonderful WHAT3WORDS app to bring you right to our front door. Just search for zips.media.dips in the app or click here x
