ACCESSIBILITY
The Urban Garden lives inside an 157-year-old building that has been built on multiple levels among the trees, and we have tried our very best working with the existing fabric of the building and Bournemouth Gardens to make it as accessible as possible. We will continue to work on accessibility throughout the building, however for now please give us a call if you require disabled access x
DOGS
Dogs (well behaved!) are welcome on our terrace and inside the bar and restaurant. We have water bowls for our furry friends and delicious fresh food & drink for their less furry families.
ALLERGIES
We cater for guests with a variety of dietary requirements, from dairy and gluten free to strawberry allergies. Our menus show which dishes can be served with a gluten free option, but you have an allergy or intolerance to particular ingredients we’ll always try to find an alternative. This works best when we know in advance so give us a call or drop a note on your booking.
LITTLE ONES
A good number of our team are parents and know that taking little people out for a meal can, at times, be stressful. But it’s also a chance to spend time together and for the next generation to fall in love with food and drink. Families always get a warm welcome and we have books and games to borrow as well as an activity pack with each kids meal. We even have a mini-chef menu.
Drinks bookings
We do take bookings for drinks only. Just click on the available option when booking online.
Waiting lists
We don't hold a waiting list for bookings. It's great that you're keen though. If you're in the area then we do occasionally have room for walk-ins so pop by and say 'hi'.
Do we want to be on TV?
Probably / maybe. If you're looking for a location to shoot from, please contact us by email.
Deposits / refunds?
We don't charge any money at the point of booking, we just hold your card details on a secure payment system. The T's & C's are here >>
What's the meaning of life?
We're still working on the book, but in general, some rules are Don't be a D*ick, Be curious, Be Happy, Give Hugs.
Favourite drink?
We do like Pina Coladas, but not getting caught in the rain.
Bottomless Brunch?
We don't offer any bottomless brunch packages, but you can order as much breakfast as you want, and pay for all if it. Win win.

It won’t let me book this time and date?
If you can't see the time and date you are looking for there are two probable answers: 1) We are fully booked at that timeslot, so maybe try another time 2) we are closed that day.

parking🚗
The main entrance to the venue is from Exeter Crescent, next to the mini golf in the Lower Gardens. There are a few choices for parking nearby, illustrated on the handy map below.
🅿️ By arrangement, we can offer FREE parking in the evenings and weekends in the private car park. YOU WILL NEED TO GET A PERMIT FROM US TO DISPLAY IN YOUR CAR (sorry for the shouting, it’s just really important)
